Running VNI Softwares with Norton Internet Security 2007

When installing VNI softwares, the installer fail or hang.

Misconfigured Norton firewall on your system.

• Double-click the Norton icon
  
   
• Click on 'Norton Internet Security' then click on 'Setting' then click on 'Configure'
  
   
• Click on 'Program Control' then click on 'Add...' at the bottom.
  
   
• Click the icon 'VNIDC.exe' then click 'Open'
  
  
  Select 'Allow' below 'What do you want to do?'
  
  
  Click 'OK' at the bottom
  
  
• Repeat the above step for 'VNIKB32.exe'
• Click 'OK'
  
  
• Done.  

• Windows freeze after reboot.
