Running VNI Softwares with Norton firewall

When installing VNI softwares, the installer fail or hang.

Misconfigured Norton firewall on your system.

• Double-click the Norton icon
  
   
• Click on 'Personal Firewall' then click on 'Configure'
  
   
• Click on 'Programs' then click on 'Add...' at the bottom.
  
   
• Click the icon 'VNIDC.exe' then click 'Open'
  
  
  Select 'Permit' below 'What do you want to do?'
  
  
  Click 'OK' at the bottom
  
  
• Repeat the above step for 'VNIKD32.exe'
• Click 'OK'
  
  
• Close this window
  
  
• Done.  

Noted:

• During normal use, if you see this message.
  
  
  Select 'Always allow connections from this program on all ports' below 'What do you want to do?'
  
  
  Click 'OK' at the bottom
  
   

• Windows freeze after reboot.
